IDP is a dynamic service company assisting a wide range of clients from the public and private sectors with tailored consulting and training services. Established in 1996 by a group of practitioners expert in EU affairs and active in Brussels since 1991, over the years IDP assisted a variety of clients ranging from large multinational corporations to small businesses in monitoring EU opportunities and accessing cofinancing provided through EU programmes managed centrally by EU institutions and agencies, such as the Framework Programme, Lifelong Learning Programme, Life+, Culture, Daphne, etc. Moreover, IDP assists public sector entities (from national agencies to local authorities) in leveraging EU programmes and funding opportunities. The company provides tailored services also to Universities and Research Centers on the various dimensions of EU cooperation in the field of research and education.

Since 1999 IDP developed a core competence also in the provision of high quality training services to knowledge workers both through institutional channels (i.e. associations of entrepreneurs, chambers of commerce, public sector at large) and within the context of large EU funded projects. IDP's experience in adult education includes the delivery of training for an average of 700 hours/year to an average of 400+ participants who rank the training “above expectations”.

In addition, IDP provides a five-day Master Class held in Brussels three times a year on how to leverage EU funding opportunities through EU Programmes. The Master Class is a practical training that builds on IDP’s direct experience in the preparation of solid proposals for EU funding. Partners of IDP have more than 15 years of practical experience in the preparation, management and supervision of large international projects. IDP is uniquely positioned to providing high quality consulting and training services on EU funding thanks to its consolidated direct experience in EU funding and project management, coupled with the presence in Brussels since 1991

IDP designed, coordinated and delivered high quality training to knowledge workers also in the frame of EC funded projects or contracts (33001Y2C2DMAL3 European Training Tools for eContent Start Ups and SME's Expansion; EDC-53032 SPREAD 28624 Stimulate and Promote Good practices in the field of Digital Content in eastern and Western Europe; IST-2002-38513 Vision - Next-Generation Knowledge Management; two editions - 2004 and 2005- of the EU Canadian Journalism Awards for the European Commission-Delegation to Canada). In the above mentioned EC funded projects, IDP has carried out also tasks related to the dissemination and exploitation of results (sometimes in the role of WP leader).
